AT THE MASC
The Force
ventured out over the weekend to Fairfield to make their first run at
the Mid American Soccer Classic (MASC). With 6 regulars out of the line
up, we came to the tournament looking to kick off our 2007 program, stretch
our legs outdoors and try some new things. To say the girls provided us
with a pleasant shock would be an understatement!! From the openning kick
off through to the final whistle, the girls played a nice control game,
pressured the ball very well and with only 1 goal allowed in the tournament,
did a tremendous job of defending. We went to Fairfield to play tough
competition and played a number of highly ranked teams in Ohio, the girls
shocked us all by coming away with the MASC Gold Division Championship!!!!!
